What does 'Ask for Regular Donations' mean?

The ‘ask for regular donations’ feature is available on ‘Donation & marketing consent’ and ‘One-off Donation’ Text Giving campaigns.

When a supporter donates via one of these campaigns, they will make a one-off donation to your organisation and you can also ask them to convert to a regular donation.

All you have to do is set the amount you’d like the supporter to give on a monthly basis. Once a supporter has made their initial one-off donation successfully, our system will send out a text message to ask them to convert to a regular donation of the amount you've specified, and all the supporter needs to do is to reply ‘YES’ to set up their monthly donation.

If you'd rather not ask for a monthly donation in this way, select the 'Don't ask' option from the drop-down menu.
