There are no sign-up fees, subscriptions or contracts. You can have as many keywords as you like at no charge. We charge a fee on donations, and a small processing fee in months when we pay you.

Card donations through the Donr Safety Net
Sometimes a text donation can't be charged to the supporter's phone. When this happens, the Donr Safety Net offers the supporter the chance to donate by card instead. Card donations have an extra card processing fee of 1.5% + £0.20 + VAT, charged by Stripe, our card payment partner. Find out why some donation attempts fail.

Text raffles
There's no charge when a supporter enters your raffle. If they choose to donate as they enter, we charge 5% + VAT on the donation, the same as text giving. On a £10 donation, your charity receives £9.40.
Payout processing fee
Each month we pay you, we charge a processing fee of £5 + VAT, or 50% of that month's gross donations + VAT, whichever is lower. For example, if your donations for the month add up to £6, the fee is £3 + VAT.
We take the fee from your payout. We charge it once a month at most, and only in months when we pay you. If you're not using Donr, you don't pay it.
VAT
We charge VAT at 20% on all our fees. You can see it on the invoice for each payout in Organisation > Payouts. If your charity is VAT-registered, you may be able to claim it back from HMRC.
What supporters pay
For a one-off donation, supporters pay the donation plus one text at their network's standard rate. For a monthly donation, they pay the donation plus two standard-rate texts when they set it up, then just the donation each month until they stop it.
For a text raffle, supporters pay one standard-rate text each time they text a Donr shortcode, plus any donation they choose to make.
Why we charge fees
Donr is a company, not a charity, so we can't receive donations. Our fees pay for the platform, our staff and our running costs.
