It's an optional text that asks supporters to start giving monthly after they make a one-off donation.
You can use it on One-off donations and One-off donations with marketing consent campaigns.
How it works
- When you set up the campaign, choose a monthly amount under Ask for a monthly donation afterwards?. You can choose £1 to £20.
- After a supporter's one-off donation goes through, we text them asking if they'd like to give that amount each month.
- They reply YES to start their monthly donation.
If you don't want to ask, choose No.
To change this later, go to Fundraise > Text giving, select Manage next to the campaign and use the Configure tab. To change the wording of the text, use the Customise tab (it's called the Follow up monthly donation request). See how to edit a text giving campaign.
